Lost & Found

Several years ago, I wrote a story about how more than 1,000 items are found daily at Walt Disney World, including toupees and diamond rings. And I discovered that Disney's lost and found department is one of the most efficient in the world. Now,   Mikayla  and Marissa  are helping promote the department in an upcoming podcast/ TV commercial to be released in the future. The Smith sisters were photographed and videotaped on Magic Kingdom rides losing their pink Minnie Mouse hats.  The story ends with the items found and returned with some Disney magic. The girls did great, had fun and loved Candice and the Disney staff.  Candice did a nice job capturing some of the shoot. Keep an eye on this site for more...

Kickoff 2007

The 2007 Smithsignal.com Pro Football Challenge is live. As always, Smithsignal.com is picking up all entry fees -- so this is FREE.   However, the pool is invite-only and not open to the public. Players who would like to have a chance at winning the cash pot (possibly $200) must pay a $10 entry fee by kickoff of week #3.  The pot total will be announced here after that week. A regular player (no $10 entry fee) can still with the trophy and at least one weekly prize during the year. Paying players are eligible to win a trophy (pictured) and cash. Regular players (who don't pay) are eligible to win the trophy and can brag. Now, for the Smithsignal.com 2006 Pro Football Challenge rules: This is a "Most Wins" pool -- meaning the person with the most number of right picks wins each week. The player with the most wins is ranked highest. Your worst week will be dropped from the final standings so don't worry if you have a tough week or missing the first round of games. If there is a tie with "Most Wins," then the first tiebreaker is the Monday Night Football Total. If there is a tie after the MNF Total, the next tiebreaker is Win %. This stands for win percentage and is calculated like this: Win % = Wins/(Wins+Losses) The person with the highest Win% is ranked highest. If there is a tie after Win%, it will be considered a tie. For returning players, just click   THIS LINK and use last year's user name and your password. You can change your picks right up to game time, so, I suggest getting them in early.
